🔎 FAQ: How Does TMAWA Ltd Fundraise and Gift?
Q1. Is TMAWA Ltd a registered charity?
No TMAWA Ltd is a registered not-for-profit limited company that operates with charitable-style objectives.
It does not distribute profits and is bound by a non-profit clause in its Articles of Association. This means we do not operate for personal or shareholder gain all surplus funds go directly into the causes and legacy gifts we create.
Q2. Does TMAWA Ltd profit from fundraising?
Absolutely not. All funds raised through campaigns are used solely for delivering the intended gift (e.g. minibuses, wellness bundles, legacy projects, wellness experiences ).
Directors do not take a salary, and donations are not retained for business purposes.
Q3. Do you follow fundraising regulations?
Yes. We follow the Fundraising Regulator’s key principles voluntarily, even though we’re not required to register.
We also operate with full donor transparency and documented receipts.
TMAWA Ltd is not required to register with the Fundraising Regulator but voluntarily adheres to their Code of Fundraising Practice, ensuring transparency, accountability, and protection of public trust.
Q4. Are the gifts really ‘gifts’?
Yes. Our Living Legacy model gifts long-term usage of an item (such as a minibus) to a chosen charity at zero cost, with full documentation.
The item is theirs to use freely and without expiry unless they no longer wish to use it.
All wellness bundles and experiences are gifted to help support and change life’s and we ask nothing in return.
Q5. What is a ‘Living Legacy Gift of Use’?
A Living Legacy Gift of Use is a fully-funded donation of long-term usage of a resource (e.g. a vehicle, wellness items, tech, support bundles) gifted to a charity or good cause at zero cost. The gift remains under TMAWA Ltd’s stewardship to protect its legacy — but is freely used by the recipient without expiry.
Q6. Why does TMAWA Ltd retain legal ownership?
To comply with company law, fundraising accountability, and ensure the gift continues to benefit others should it ever go unused or be returned.
Ownership does not affect how freely the recipient can use the gift. We retain zero profit or resale benefit. But we do believe the legacy should always continue the fundraising legacy.

The item is respectfully reassigned to another charity.
If the item ever reaches the end of its usable life, any remaining value is redistributed across the charities that benefited from it.
